He continued his vocation working as a mid-senior level associate attorney at Pacheco Neto Sanden Teisseire Advogados in 2010, and a senior associate attorney at Emerenciano, Baggio e Associados Advogados between 2010 and 2012. From 2015 until 2011, he garnered expertise as a law clerk at both the Victoria Law Group and Bilzin Sumberg Baena Price & Axelrod LLP in Miami, and as a senior manager at the Amicorp Group between 2019 and 2020. He has found much success as an associate attorney at the New York law firm of Grant, Herrmann, Schwartz & Klinger LLP and subsequently at Dorot & Bensimon PL since 2022. In this capacity, Mr. Monteiro specializes in national and international estate planning, national and international taxation, pre-immigration tax planning, business succession planning, wills and trusts, national and international tax and reporting compliance, wealth management and investment tax planning.
Well regarded for his contributions to the field, Mr. Monteiro has received the Director's Award for Taxation of Outbound Transactions from the University of Miami. Long dedicated to civic advocacy, he volunteers his time and services as a pro bono tax preparer for the Internal Revenue Service Volunteer Tax Assistance Program.
