Well-regarded for demonstrating expertise in his chosen field, Mr. Wright has accrued more than 35 years of experience as a master electrician, and presently serves as a senior project manager at the Willdan Group Inc., an engineering services company. In this capacity, he is responsible for overseeing all projects undertaken by the company for any given city, typically pertaining to energy upgrades, maintaining equipment or the installation of new technology.
Prior to holding his current role, Mr. Wright served in a similar position at CS Energy from 2016 until 2021, having previously worked as a construction coordinator with the solar division of Bockmon & Woody Electrical Company between 2015 and 2016. Earlier, he had maintained involvement as a superintendent with both RGS Energy, a commercial division of Real Goods Solar Inc., from 2012 to 2015, and REC Solar from 2010 until 2012. He initially rose to a position of supervision as an electrical foreman for SunEdison Inc. in 2008, having also owned a general handyman business that primarily catered to senior communities. In addition to his work in the private sector, Mr. Wright also contributed his services as an electrician to the U.S. Air Force for a period of six years.
Though his professional journey has been filled with many memorable moments, Mr. Wright is especially proud to have managed the construction of over 700 megawatts of commercial solar power. For this, and other similar achievements, he was bestowed with an accolade for his commitment to project sustainability. Likewise, he is gratified to serve on behalf of larger urban populations, for whom he works diligently to increase energy efficiency and improve life in general. Though he had originally planned to retire in the near future, Mr. Wright anticipates further years of service on behalf of various communities.
