Long dedicated to encouraging innovation and research, Ms. Chambers Lawson has also served as the Global Director-General of the Global Alliance of Angel Investor and Venture Capital Networks, Global Council for the Promotion of International Trade, since 2022. Likewise, she has been a co-host of the podcast "Real Management Talk with LJ and Jocelyn" since 2020, a Lecturer at Our Lady of the Lake University for the Online Master of Science in Nonprofit Management program since 2020, and an instructor of Project Management and Management Information Systems at the H-E-B School of Business and Administration at the University of the Incarnate Word since 2018.

Ms. Chambers Lawson previously worked as an Adjunct Professor for Alamo Colleges from 2014 to 2020. With respect to education, she also taught Advanced Placement Environmental Science and Biology for Richmond Public Schools between 2009 and 2012 and various Business, Biology, and Political Science courses at her alma mater, Virginia Commonwealth University, from 2008 to 2012. Furthermore, Ms. Chambers Lawson brought in more than a million dollars in grant funding as the District Grant Administrator for the Edgewood Independent School District between 2017 and 2018. During an earlier stage of her career, she worked on Capitol Hill as a U.S. congressional representative intern from 2006 to 2008, co-founded the South Sudan Educate to Lead Foundation between 2006 and 2008, and was a Program Manager of Workforce Development for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in 2012.

An international bestselling author, Ms. Chambers Lawson authored "Master Grant Writing: A Project Manager's Guide" published by River Walk Publishing. The book serves as a comprehensive guide for developing and maintaining successful nonprofit and for-profit businesses for the successful pursuit of grants.

Deeply invested in local charitable, educational and business organizations, Ms. Chambers Lawson has contributed to the business community as an employer, investor and mentor since 2018. She has proudly served as a mentor to venture founders in the Venture Mentoring Service at Trinity University, a MIT VMS sister program since 2019. Since 2021, Ms. Chambers Lawson has served as Board member and Chair of the Procurement Committee for the African American Chamber of Commerce of San Antonio. She has also served as a Board member for the South Alamo Regional Alliance for the Homeless (SARAH), the designated lead Continuum of Care (CoC) agency for San Antonio and Bexar County by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. In 2020, Ms. Chambers Lawson became a core leader of Black Women Lead, a movement created by Kwaku Osei, a Detroit-based entrepreneur and change-maker, to financially support and publicly celebrate the contributions of Black women leaders across the U.S.

Tacit Growth Strategies became an industry partner of the San Antonio Independent School District's Edison High School in 2021 to develop and implement a P-TECH program for 9th through 14th grade level. Previously active with several other organizations, she was pivotal to the growth and sustainability of the San Antonio African American Community Archive & Museum as President and Board Chair in 2018 - 2020. Ms. Chambers Lawson previously served as Board member and Chair of the Committee on Legislation and Public Policy for the Texas Kidney Foundation. Among other organizations to which she has volunteered her time and energy, Ms. Chambers Lawson has volunteered as President and Board Chair with the Alamo Project Management Institute (Alamo PMI).

Highly educated, Ms. Chambers Lawson received a Bachelor of Arts in political science and African American studies in 2010 and a Master of Public Administration in 2012 at Virginia Commonwealth University. Well qualified in her field, she holds certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification through SSD Global Solutions.

To remain aware of developments in her field, Ms. Chambers Lawson is a member of the Project Management Institute and the National Association of Professional Women. She has been recognized for her achievements with a Minority Enterprise Development Week Award by the San Antonio Business Opportunity Council for Government Contracting Excellence in 2019 and was named as a San Antonio Business Journal 40 Under 40 Honoree in 2022. Ms. Chambers Lawson was also nominated for the Rising Star Award by the San Antonio Visitor Alliance in 2019. In accounting for her standout success, she credits her ambidexterity and positive attitude.
