She entered the real estate industry after establishing a background in the construction field; as a child, she was inspired by watching her father's work remodeling and building homes. In the late 1990's, Ms. Blume found success as the owner of Silver Eagle Homes, a residential home builder; however, when sales suffered during the recession of 2007 and 2008, she made the decision to pursue a career in real estate.
Ms. Blume commenced her real estate career in 2007 as a broker with Keller Williams Realty, advancing to the role of operating principal and founder of Keller Williams Realty Portland Elite in 2018. During her time in the field, Ms. Blume has garnered several recognitions. She has been named a Five-Star Real Estate Agent by Portland Monthly Magazine since 2010 and has been invited to the 2022's Five Star Legends celebrating the top 1% of professionals who have won the award 10 or more years. She also ranks in the Top 2% of Realtors in her MLS.
As a natural community builder, Ms. Blume attributes her success to her ability to share and care for others. She prides herself on her accessibility and transparency and makes a point to share her hard-won expertise with her colleagues. Ms. Blume's exemplary performance is born of her academic journey, which began by earning a Bachelor of Science in social sciences from Portland State University in 1985. She earned the graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI) certification and is a licensed realtor in Oregon and Washington. As a commitment to her field, she maintains membership with the National Association of REALTORS® and has been a member of the East Metro Association of Realtors and the Multi-Million Dollar Club since 2010, also serving as its chair. In addition, Ms. Blume hosts a Mastermind group that invites Realtors from all brokerages to discuss issues of the current market and best practices around them. She is passionate about Keller Williams Red Day, a global philanthropic event held annually in May and is active with the Associate Leadership Council in her brokerage.
When Ms. Blume is not working, she loves to travel and enjoy adventures in Mexico and Europe; she especially loves road trips to explore the wonders of the U.S., stopping by the homes of past clients who have moved to another state. She also loves spending time with friends.
