SISTERS, OR, August 03, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Priscilla Wetmore, LD, LMFT, CEDS, has been included in Marquis Who's Who. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Driven by an interest in the sciences, Ms. Wetmore earned a Bachelor of Science in nutrition from the University of New Hampshire in 1977. She subsequently excelled as a registered dietitian in hospitals and nursing homes. Over the years, she also gained valuable experience in program management as the regional program manager of The Salvation Army in the San Francisco Bay area, where she served from 2007 to 2015. Likewise, Ms. Wetmore expanded upon her skill set by earning a Master of Arts in counseling psychology from Patten University.

Ms. Wetmore is currently a dietitian and therapist for Bend Counseling and Psychotherapy. She earned licensure in marriage and family therapy from the California Board of Behavioral Sciences and became a certified eating disorder specialist through the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals. She also earned certification as an addiction treatment counselor IV through the California Association for Alcohol & Drug Educators.

To remain current with industry trends, Ms. Wetmore is a member of several organizations, including the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, the Oregon Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, the American Dietetic Association, the California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals, and the Academy of Nutrition Sciences. Looking toward the future, Ms. Wetmore intends to become certified in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy.
