Wanda Jean Burrows Warren Recognized for Successful Career in Office Administration

Ms. Burrows' mastery of accounting, payroll, customer service and staff management brought her accolades.



    COPPELL, TX, August 09, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Wanda Jean Burrows Warren has been included in Marquis Who's Who. Ms. Warren enjoyed a fulfilling and successful career as an Office Administrator that spanned nearly five decades. Much of her career was spent in service to William B. and Jeannette Eppler and John Turner of Eppler, Guerin and Turner Investment Banking Company where she was their personal Office Administrator which included full charge bookkeeping, accounts receivable accounts payables, payroll and fielding phone calls. Her expertise covered Advertising, Oil and Gas, Stocks and Bonds and other investments. Wanda was highly regarded by her colleagues for her efficiency, dedication, diligence and constant professionalism and credits her success to passion and hard work.

Prior to embarking on her professional journey, Ms. Warren earned an Associates of Arts in accounting from Arlington State College. A high performing student, Ms. Warren received numerous certificates of achievement and recognition from schools she attended.

Ms. Warren's enthusiasm and dedication inspired her to begin a career as an insurance clerk and manager's secretary, a position she held for three years before accepting an accounting role with Tracy-Locke Advertising Company for another three years. She accepted temporary positions as typist for Internal Revenue Service, bookkeeping positions for United Concrete Pipe and Lasco Laundry Supply Co. while welcoming her son, Monte and her daughter Kathy into her life. H. W. Bass & Sons was her next position as full charge bookkeeper and assistant to the executives in charge of the Trust Accounts. Oil and Gas records and telephone switch board relief were the primary responsibility of her position for eight years. The next eight years Ms. Warren was employed by Stan Levenson & Associates Advertising Agency serving as Office Manager of their Accounting Department overseeing junior office staff, Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Deposits and assisting account executives.

Her career led her to Eppler Guerin and Turner Investment Banking Company in 1980 until her retirement in 1996. Throughout her career, she drew on her passion, diligence, communication, time management and problem solving skills, all factors that led to her success.

Outside of her primary vocation, Ms. Warren is a gifted musician who taught, sang in the choir, and played the piano at Hampton Place Baptist Church, Pleasant Grove First Baptist Church, Elam Rd. Baptist Church, Lakeland Baptist Church and Christus St. Joseph's Village for decades. She started playing the piano at age 10 years and volunteered at age of eleven until eighteen as her church pianist. Ms. Warren remains an avid player, performing in the chapel of her retirement village weekly for the past eight years, and looks forward to continuing this activity well into the future.

A volunteer within her local community Ms. Warren was active with the Metrocrest Newcomers Club for nearly 15 years, serving as President, Treasurer, Editor and member. She has taught Sunday School at Hampton Place Baptist Church and Pleasant Grove First Baptist Church. She served as President of the United Federation of Postal Clerks Auxiliary. She was also Coordinator of Nimble Fingers at St. Joseph's Village, making over 1,000 hand-crocheted baby blankets which were donated to area hospitals. She loves to play MahJong, Hand and Foot Canasta and many other games. Her diligence and dedication have been recognized with certificates of appreciation from Christus St. Joseph's Village and Princeton Global Network. Ms. Warren enjoys spending time with her children Monte Carl Warren and Kathy Gail Warren Preis and five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
