Well qualified in her profession, Ms. Cole is a Massachusetts Licensed Mental Health Counselor, a New Hampshire Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, and clinical supervisor. She is also a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP), Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP-II), Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional (CIMHP), and Certified Clinical Telemental Health Provider (CTMH). Prior to her career in mental health, she formerly worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). To remain aware of developments affecting her field, she is a member of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
Following her undergraduate education, Ms. Cole began her career as a primary counselor for Phoenix House at Dublin Academy in 2008 until starting a role as a counseling intern at New England College in 2009. She then served as a counseling intern at MAPS Counseling Services in Keene, NH from 2010-2011. Ms. Cole became a Staff Therapist at South Bay Mental Health in Lawrence, MA in 2011 and was promoted to a Clinical Supervisor at the SBMH Lowell site in 2013. While working for this company, she also assisted in establishing a new location in Malden, MA in 2012.
Since 2014, Ms. Cole has worked as a psychotherapist for Greater Lowell Psychiatric Associates, LLC, and became the chief operations officer for the company in 2018. In this capacity, she provides individual, couples, and family counseling serving children, adolescents, and adults. As the chief operations officer, she is responsible for handling staff hiring and training, monitoring compliance, and provides oversight for all major administrative decisions and policies. She also takes care of the business finances for the practice, manages the website, and serves as the point of contact for any marketing and advertisement efforts.
She intends to continue advancing within the company, aiming to take ownership after the present owner retires.
