In addition to her role with Cornerstone House of Santa Barbara, Ms. Baker is also the Director of Marketing for Taurus Protection Inc., where she has worked since 2018. She was recruited to provide marketing and business development services to build and enhance networking opportunities and manage media channels.
Long dedicated to civic advocacy, Ms. Baker volunteers with the Susan Komen Foundation where she received the Volunteer Recognition Award for her years of service. She has been committed to helping others through volunteering in non-profit organizations since her youth, having decided to dedicate her career to advocacy, whether she ultimately worked for employers, with patients and even an individual offering freelance services. To prepare for her career in this space, Ms. Baker earned a Bachelor of Arts from California State University in 2005. She continued her education by earning a degree in Biology, after which she continued her work and volunteering in the healthcare field. Between her combined experiences, she offers a unique perspective in her field and continues to be an asset where she focuses her skills.
