Driven by compassion and a desire to make a difference, Ms. Kruglov elected to pursue a career in health care. She became a licensed practical nurse through Eli Whitney Technical High School in 2008 and began her career as a nurse with West Haven VA Medical Center. Since joining the institution, she has honed her expertise in wound care, medication administration, IV placements, and more. To expand upon her industry knowledge, she obtained CPR, wound care, and phlebotomy certifications, as well as a Bachelor of Public Health from Southern Connecticut State University.
Ms. Kruglov contributes to the fall committee and the diabetic committee at West Haven VA Medical Center. Likewise, she dedicates herself to those less fortunate as a volunteer nurse for several hospitals in the area. Due to her outstanding body of work, she has been honored many times, earning a Nightingale Award nomination from her supervisor, a Kindness Award in 2022, four Best Employee of the Month Awards, and an Employee of the Quarter Award from West Haven VA Medical Center. Looking toward the future, Ms. Kruglov would like to become involved in academia and research to make additional contributions to her field.
