A former non-profit executive, Ms. Hughes Pak was the Director of Marketing and Development for the Meals on Wheels of Wichita Falls. In this capacity, she successfully increased the organization's revenue by 150% in her five years affiliated with the program. She also contributed to the organization winning several awards including the exclusive Torch Award for Ethics by the Better Business Bureau, awarded to only one organization among more than 100 non-profits in the surrounding area. Other profession experience includes Director of Resource Development for the North Texas Area United Way, a decade as an educator, and Customer Relations and Sales for eight years with Bailey Equipment and Supply.
As a prominent member of the community, Ms. Hughes Pak is a Board Member of the Wichita Falls Chamber of Commerce, Burkburnett Chamber of Commerce, Sheppard Military Affairs Committee for Sheppard Air Force Base, and Midwestern State University Alumni Association. She is a founding Board Member of Impact 100 Wichita Falls, Holliday ISD Education Foundation, and the Wichita Falls Downtown After Hours Art Walk. Additionally, she is active in the non-profit sector as a Board Member for Child Care Partners, Project Back to School, the American Cancer Association's Cattle Baron's Ball, and has served 12 years as a committee member for The Center's Walk for Life. Ms. Hughes Pak is also currently a member of the Senior Junior Forum, Wichita County Republican Women's Organization, and Southwest Rotary of Wichita Falls. Throughout her career, she has notably participated in more than 30 non-profit organizations and served on 17 boards.
Ms. Hughes Pak graduated from Holliday ISD and moved on to receive a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications with a Minor in Public Relations and Education Certification from Midwestern State University. Awards and accomplishments include serving as an adjunct professor at her alma mater Midwestern State University, Dancing for the Stars Mirror Ball Champion with her husband Samuel Pak for Big Brothers Big Sisters, being chosen by the Wichita Falls Chamber of Commerce to be a panel speaker for the BOSS Successful Networking Series, the Pride Integrity Greatness Award from Leadership Wichita Falls Class 2017, and First Place Team Trophy Winner for Most Money Raised for The Center's Walk for Life in 2010, 2011 and 2012. She attributes her success to the loving foundation of her parents, Pascal and Pat Bailey, her husband Samuel Pak, her children Lexy and Danny Hughes, and bonus children Chloe and Camille Pak.
