Through 2005, he shared ownership of Ball Products, an extensive sports equipment manufacturing firm, which his son established following his commencement from college. Additional professional appointments held by Mr. Ball include tenure as a policy salesperson and management executive for a life insurance firm in Texas.

Mr. Ball attributes his professional success to his willingness to invest optimal effort into every project. In fact, it was only after experiencing hardships related to taking Ball Products public that the Ball family initiated Ball Fabrics. Currently, Mr. Ball partners with his adult children to manage all aspects of the company, including advertising, marketing and operations. A sports enthusiast and seasoned basketball player, Mr. Ball earned a full scholarship to study toward a Bachelor of Science at Rice University.
