READING, PA, September 01, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jennifer A. Stoica, BSN, RN, CNOR, CRNFA, has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Driven to achieve a career in service to others, Ms. Stoica pursued a vocation in the field of health care. Supported by years of experience in orthopedic, reconstructive plastic surgery, as well as general, gynecological, and gender affirmation surgeries, she presently excels as a registered nurse with Reading Hospital and as a certified operating room nurse and certified registered nurse first assistant for Tower Health. In both of her roles, she remains active in mentoring and educating future perioperative nurses, and provides orientation education for an estimated 100 medical students, residents and physician assistants in the operating room each year. Similarly, Ms. Stoica is a member of a relationship-based care departmental committee that oversees staff and patient satisfaction, as well as staff recruitment and retention, and has developed and taught a CNOR certification review course annually for eligible operating room nurses throughout the Tower Health System.

During the early stages of her career, Ms. Stoica gained valuable expertise in the nursing industry as a patient care assistant and level II registered nurse while working on an acute care stroke unit at Reading Hospital. In conjunction with her work, she dedicates herself to others by fundraising for ovarian cancer research on behalf of her best friend who battled ovarian cancer, donating to Laney's Legacy of Hope, a local pediatric cancer organization, and has recently collected and sent supply packages to those in need in Ukraine. Likewise, she aligns herself with several industry-related organizations, including the Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses, The International Society of Female Professionals, and The National Society of Collegiate Scholars.

An expert in her field, Ms. Stoica became a registered nurse first assistant at Delaware County Community College, earned a Bachelor of Science in exercise science with a minor in biology from Shippensburg University in 2006, and completed an internship at the cardiac rehabilitation facility at the Reading Hospital the same year. Subsequently, she became a registered nurse through the Reading Hospital School of Health Sciences in 2009 and received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Kaplan University of Nursing in 2013.

Due to her wide range of knowledge, Ms. Stoica has contributed to a number of publications, including "Effects of a Short Downhill Running Bout on Running Economy" and "Metabolic Comparison of Standardized Workloads on the Lode Corival and the Cateye EC-C400R Ergometers." To commemorate her accomplishments, she has been honored many times, earning a scholarship grant through ESPN, inclusion on the dean's list at Shippensburg University and on the president's list at the Kaplan University of Nursing.

In a career filled with highlights, Ms. Stoica is most proud of earning her registered nursing license. She attributes her success to her passion for assisting during surgical procedures and her continued dedication to her patients by advocating on their behalf and ensuring that they are cared for in a safe and nurturing environment. Ms. Stoica would also like acknowledge that without the continued love and support from her parents, John and Jill; her husband, Radu; and her daughters, Veoleta and Emersyn she would not have reached her current level of success in the field of nursing. Looking toward the future, Ms. Stoica intends to experience the continued growth and success of her career.
