Before embarking on her professional journey, Ms. Chacon earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a minor in Speech and Drama from Marian University. She eventually added a Master in Education from Indiana University.
Ms. Chacon started her career in secondary education and experimented in individualizing English in the high school classroom. Her training as a children's magician through Compton's Educational Services is now helping to entertain children at The Salvation Army Women and Children's Center and Coburn Place.
