Ms. Ledesma retired from a successful career as a nurse evaluator with the Department of Health Services. A native of the Philippines, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Santo Tomas, after which she took a position at that institution before moving to the United States in 1966. Throughout the course of her career in health care, Ms. Ledesma is most proud to have contributed in diverse positions, such as a head nurse and supervisor, and as a field nurse and critical care nurse as well.

Diligence, dedication and vision are the attributes cited by Ms. Ledesma as key to her success in the field of nursing. In this regard, she is particularly gratified to have advanced to the role of a case management expert. Moreover, Ms. Ledesma has remained steadfastly committed to overcoming all obstacles, as she pursued opportunities at different locations and across various levels of the nursing profession.
