A licensed professional counselor, Ms. Deichert dedicates her skills to assisting people in enhancing their emotional well-being. Since 2017, she has worked in her private practice helping individuals, couples, children, and families learn how to effectively overcome barriers in their lives. While helping them find ways to communicate and problem solve more effectively, she noticed she had a knack for helping people see a new perspective to their problems. This created significant change in her clients' lives. She has since created an online course on "Harnessing the Power of Perspective," and published a book, Creating A New World; A Journey Toward Self-Actualization, which describes her healing journey.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Deichert worked with children diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illness at a residential treatment center. She and her partner created a program that successfully discharged 94 out of 97 teenagers over a two-year span. She subsequently transitioned to working at a community mental health center. There she met with clients as well as piloted several programs, including community housing, preschool/kindergarten services, and increasing effectiveness of therapists working at the center. She was also the coordinator for the federal PASRR program across multiple counties.
Prior to embarking upon her professional journey, her prowess as a collegiate athlete helped paved the way to earning a Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of Bridgeport in 2005. She then attained a Master of Science in marriage and family therapy from the University of Phoenix in 2010. She is dual licensed as a professional counselor in Colorado and a mental health counselor in Hawaii.
Looking toward the future, Ms. Deichert will continue to grow her Crystal Clear Clarity program through her online courses and written publications. This will allow her to produce more content and education for people. She also intends to work more with individuals to help them reach a state of self-actualization.
