Steven Keehn Recognized for Success in Emergency Medical Services

Having grown up in a family of medical professionals, Dr. Keehn was inspired to pursue a career in healthcare. Moreover, he conducted drug overdose calls when he volunteered at his local fire station during his formative years. These experiences led him to his current profession in emergency medical services. For several years, Dr. Keehn has served as an emergency medical attending physician for various hospitals and medical centers.

Moreover, Dr. Keehn is the director of emergency medicine for the HCA JFK North Hospital in West Palm Beach, Florida. He is also active as an emergency medical services associate medical director for the Palm Beach County Fire Department. In his current roles, he works to improve healthcare providers and the quality of their service. Moreover, Dr. Keehn initiated the only addiction stabilization unit in Palm Beach County.

He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the Emergency Medicine Residents Association and the American College of Emergency Physicians. Likewise, he is a fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Emergency Physicians. Dr. Keehn earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed an internship and residency in emergency medicine at the Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center.

Having been recruited as a volunteer firefighter throughout his career, Dr. Keehn has also volunteered on various committees aimed towards serving the public, including committees for disaster preparedness and cultural diversity. He attributes his success to his hard work, perseverance and the support of his parents. Incredibly happy in his present position, Dr. Keehn intends to continue his stellar work in the future.
