Originating from a multifaceted background in online marketing, Ms. Huang previously served in prominent roles with a variety of international companies, including Bertelsmann and Rosetta Stone Inc., for which she worked as a marketing specialist. Likewise, she contributed to senior management roles with Marriott International Inc., JCPenney and 7-Eleven Inc., the latter of which bestowed her with an innovation award. She went on to contribute her expertise as the director of global digital marketing at Specialized Bicycle Components Inc.
Equipped with this valuable experience, Ms. Huang steered her career efforts away from service as an executive and toward entrepreneurship in an entirely new field, establishing her business, SIARA DESIGNS. Founded in 2017, the company specializes in sustainable and eco-friendly landscaping practices, creating beautiful outdoor spaces that support people, wildlife and the environment. Utilizing a mix of native and adapted plants, the company is committed to designing spaces that are unique, low-maintenance and conscious of water and energy conservation, thereby reducing the need for harmful fertilizers and pesticides. Notably, since its founding, SIARA DESIGNS has gone on to achieve rapid growth, accruing seven figures in revenue within just three years.
As the head of the company, Ms. Huang is responsible for expanding her entrepreneurial brand and business, and handles such tasks as hiring and team development, as well as client management and retention. On a daily basis, she also provides oversight for lead generation and sales through her sales team. Likewise, she is responsible for managing a fleet of trucks and multiple work crews. As the principal designer, Ms. Huang provides her team with instructions regarding their projects, and works diligently to ensure the perfect layout for plants and materials at project locations.
In recognition of her excellent work, Ms. Huang was featured on the show "Buy It or Build It" on HGTV. She was also honored with a Best In DFW (Dallas-Fort Worth) Gold Award in Landscape Design and Installation in 2021 and was voted as the NextDoor Neighborhood Favorite during the same year. Additionally, her work was recognized as the Yard of the Month, and SIARA DESIGNS received spotlight features in several local publications, including N2 Magazine, CandysDirt Magazine and mThink Revenue Performance Magazine.
