For more than 2 years, Mr. Mazzoccoli has served as the director of education for the Ultrasound Diagnostic School in Iselin, New Jersey. Hired in 1997, he supports his staff and students by ensuring that the school consistently meets its educational standards. Mr. Mazzoccoli previously functioned in an administrative role with the Katharine Gibbs School in Piscataway, New Jersey, where he garnered recognition and expertise as an assistant dean.
In addition to his educational background, Mr. Mazzoccoli recently retired from his role as a member of the parish staff at Saint Virgil's Church in Morris Plains, New Jersey. First joining the parish in 1976, he provided religious services as both a deacon and administrator. In retirement, Mr. Mazzoccoli continues to support the church by assisting the priests with mass on Saturdays. He also provides various services at Sunrise Senior Living in Morris Plains every Sunday. During his years of religious service, Mr. Mazzoccoli also worked as a chaplain's assistant for the Morriston Rehabilitation Center in Morristown, New Jersey, from 1976 to 1985.
Since resigning from his church duties, Mr. Mazzoccoli is still active as a Court Services Officer 1 for the State of New Jersey, Middlesex County Superior Court and is still working there for almost 24 years. In this capacity, he works with the local courthouse on arbitration cases, contacting arbitrators, setting up arbitrations and providing specialized services to clients and citizens.
Civically, Mr. Mazzoccoli is a longstanding member and former six-time president of the IBM Club. He is also a fourth-degree member of the Knights of Columbus. Most notably, Mr. Mazzoccoli served in the U.S. Navy Reserve from 1956 to 1962, during which time he performed duties as a radarman third class.
Mr. Mazzoccoli received a Bachelor of Arts in commerce at Rider College in 1963, followed by numerous courses toward a master's degree. Highlighting his professional excellence in teaching, Mr. Mazzoccoli was named as the Educator of the Year by the Katherine Gibbs School.
