Mr. Mendoza is a native Texan and began his professional path when he matriculated at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. He graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, and upon learning that South Texas College of Law Houston was the best option for aspiring attorneys with an interest in litigation, Mr. Mendoza successfully completed his Juris Doctorate and after passing the Texas bar examination, he began his legal career in civil litigation. Mr. Mendoza subsequently fulfilled his lifelong dream of serving his country by joining the United States Army Reserve Judge Advocate General Corps as a First Lieutenant, where he became knowledgeable in the Uniform Code of Military Justice, soldier readiness processing, the law of war, and the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act. He attained the rank of Major when he was honorably discharged in 2015. During his tenure in the military, Mr. Mendoza received a top 5 national nomination as a candidate for the Reserve Officer Association Most Outstanding Junior Military Officer – Major General Strom Thurmond Award and was a two-time recipient of the United States Army Meritorious Service Medal. In recognition of his volunteer service, he was also awarded the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal. Mr. Mendoza also consulted for Silver Eagle Distributors Houston, LLC and was a part-time actor with LSI, Inc., while serving in the military. Towards the end of his military service, Mr. Mendoza returned to civil litigation with a focus on ad valorem taxation.

He utilizes his array of life experiences to procure governmental contracts, develop client relationships, and assist governmental clients with collecting receivables. Seeking to expand his knowledge base, Mr. Mendoza sought and obtained a post-graduate certificate in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from the Stanford University School of Business and School of Engineering. Apart from his professional life, Mr. Mendoza is active in a number of organizations in his local community, most recently serving as co-chair for the Houston Bar Association Special Olympics Committee. Mr. Mendoza also served as a board member for the non-profit organization People Caring for the Community, Inc., which completed the building of the first Philippine Community Center in Houston, Texas. In addition, he was a founding member of Filipino Young Professionals of Houston. Furthermore, Mr. Mendoza is dedicated to the preservation of big cat populations, volunteering his time and contributing financially to animal sanctuaries and organizations focused on the well-being of tigers and lions. A fitness enthusiast for much of his life, Mr. Mendoza was also a top 10 Reader's Choice contestant in the Men's Health Magazine "Ultimate Guy Contest" in the United States and Canada.
