After years of dedication in janitorial work and security, Mr. Rodriguez now utilizes his skills as a corporate executive. Since 2001, he has been the president of Alliance Building Services and became the chief executive officer in 2020, the company was recently granted the Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) Certification to validate their status as a minority-owned company. In this capacity, he and his team work to maintain positive relationships with their clients while handling new business and accounts. He also engages in networking with real estate owners and supports the cleaning teams as required.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Rodriguez acquired a position as a cleaner for The World Trade Center in 1988 until being promoted to a security supervisor in 1993. He advanced further to a role as a cleaning and janitorial supervisor in 1994. The next year, he became a night supervisor for Alliance Building Services until becoming a leader at the company in 2001.
Long dedicated to civic advocacy, Mr. Rodriguez is a board member of Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City. He has served as a board member for the Committee for Hispanic Children and Families Inc. and the Diabetes Research Institute. He volunteers with Nontraditional Employment for Women, St. Francis Food Pantries and Shelters, the enCourage Kids Foundation, and the Nassau Suffolk Services for Autism. He also sponsors several community events, including a "Swing for a Cure" golf classic for the Herophilos Fund for Pancreatic Cancer Research at the Columbia University Medical Center.

He received the Los Niños Image Award for Business from the Committee for Hispanic Children and Families Inc. in 2010.
