Prior to this role, Mr. Cardin served as a production superintendent at Green Bay Packaging Inc. from 1996 until 2020.
Mr. Cardin's performance in the field was born of his academic journey at Athens State University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in management and technology in 2017. As a commitment to his field, he has been active with several industry-related organizations, including the Tennessee Chamber of Commerce Diplomats and the National Association of Realtors. Likewise dedicated to civic advocacy, Mr. Cardin supports various community programs and events both monetarily and through volunteer work to give back; specifically he is a softball coach and contributes to Kiwanis International.
Among his professional accomplishments, Mr. Cardin is most proud to have obtained his bachelor's degree in management of technology while working over 70 hours a week, coaching softball and taking care of his two children. He attributes much of his success to his grandmother, who instilled in him the values of hard work, respect and integrity, which helped him succeed in his career efforts and in life. Looking toward the future, Mr. Cardin aspires to continually meet and build relationships with new people while learning more about Giles County.
