He founded The Devereux Group in 1987, focusing his efforts on managing the entire business cycle of the organization. He works to maximize revenue while engaging in sales and marketing efforts and optimizing operational activities. He also assesses profits in terms of how to utilize them properly and leverage their resources to support and develop the business effectively.
While establishing his company, Mr. Devereux served as an instructor and chair for the School of Drafting and Design and the School of Business for ITT Technical Institute from 1997 to 2016. Mr. Devereux transitioned into consulting in the late eighties, inspired by a desire to explore the human side of Mergers and Acquisitions, and to move on to be a business architect introducing new methods and processes to improve human and business infrastructure and performance worldwide.
Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Devereux earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology. He subsequently attained a Master of Education in eLearning, Corporate Training, and Knowledge Management from Jones International University and received a Master of Business Administration from Daniel Webster College in 2015. Well qualified in his field, he is a certified Knowledge Manager and Knowledge Environmental Engineer. He also completed the prestigious Goldratt AGI Jonah Program®, has completed Post Graduate Studies in Digital Transformation, Agile Scrum, and CBAP prep, is a Game Thinking certified professional, and a published author of several books, including Basic Survey and Engineering Math published by Pearson, Smart Decision Making in a New Tech Paradigm, The 5 Stages of Integrated Agile DEI Leadership for Rapid Cultural Growth and Performance, and DEI: Is Your Organization Thriving or D.I.E.ing?.
Looking toward the future, Mr. Devereux's current focus is on Digital Transformation, including using Digital Twins to enhance rapid industrial and business performance change and sustainability.
