The BROADIE SISTERS FAMILY TRIO RELEASE THEIR 5th ALBUM

OVERLAND PARK, KS, October 03, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The BROADIE SISTERS, Joan (Broadie) Feldmeier and Jane (Broadie) Wilson, twins, and Dr. Eileen Broadie, all born in Kansas, were formed as a family trio at ages 8 and 5 respectively, taught by their mother. The BROADIE SISTERS are exceedingly grateful to their parents, W.E. Steve and Winifred (Jones) Broadie, for having nurtured their musical development. The three sisters took lessons in classical piano and instruments throughout their childhood in Ralston, Nebraska and in high school in Wichita, Kansas as they continued to develop their unique harmonic vocal blend. They became well-known as a performing group, singing for church and civic organizations which led to regular local, and a number of national, television appearances, including the Ted Mack Amateur Hour. As young adults, each sister expanded her own individual music experiences.

Joan, having completed a Master of Music Education degree, toured the United State as a member of the HARRY SIMEON CHORALE which was well known for the recording of "The Little Drummer Boy". She joined the UNITED STATES ARMY, serving 8 years playing in ARMY NATIONAL GUARD Bands and 15 years in the ARMY RESERVE. Joan taught for 2 years in a private American school in London, England and 33 years in Kansas, New Hampshire and Massachusetts. She also founded and directed the State-supported MEDFORD CHILDREN'S CHOIR.

Jane completed degrees in Music Education and Journalism. As a pastor's wife, she taught Sunday School and directed both church and school choirs through the years. She posted articles in ANGELS ALL AROUND US, a subsidiary of Guidepost magazine, the PEO RECORD and news articles on subjects which effect the family. She has also served as a Precinct Delegate in Michigan.

Eileen holds two Masters degrees and a Doctorate in vocal performance. She toured the United States with FRED WARING and the PENSYLVANIANS as a singer and flutist. She is a former member of the BAVARIAN RADIO CHOIR in Germany and was a soloist for 4 years with the AUGSBURG OPERA HOUSE in Germany. She taught VOICE for 8 years at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver. She taught public school music for 21 years.

The BROADIE SISTERS have used their combined expertise and musicianship to record 5 CDs:
