Drawing on years of professional experience in industrial maintenance and medical device manufacturing, Mr. Odland presently excels as a Commissioning Lead with JM Test Systems. Since joining the company in 2021, he has served as a lead commissioning technician on natural gas compressor stations, verified equipment and products, and oversaw inspections and testing. During the early stages of his career, he gained valuable expertise in the field as a multi-craft maintenance technician to a Supervisor II with Gambro/Baxter International Inc. from 2006 until 2021 and as a self-propelled field artillery turret mechanic with the U.S. Army between 1989 and 1994.
Before embarking on his journey in the engineering industry, Mr. Odland completed coursework in industrial mechanics, and maintenance technology at Columbus Technical College. Furthermore, he has expanded upon his considerable knowledge by earning certification as a Six Sigma Green Belt via Auburn University in 2015 and by becoming an ordained minister through Joan Hunter Ministries in 2016. Additional certifications to Mr. Odland's credit include industrial maintenance master craftsman certification and a certificate in welding.
To commemorate his achievements, Mr. Odland has received several awards through the U.S. Army, including Army Achievement Medals, Army Commendation Medals, a Good Conduct Medal and the Kuwait Liberation Medal. In a career filled with highlights, he is most proud of progressing personally, professionally and financially without earning a college degree. He attributes his success to his faith in God, as well as his hard work and willingness to learn. Looking ahead, Mr. Odland intends to continue to grow and advance in his career, and mentor and guide others.
