Principal Chief Carl Lee Hudson Celebrated for Dedication to the Southern Cherokee Government

Chief Hudson draws Cherokee people together in his work with the government



He attributes his success to his drive and motivation, as well as his desire to provide people with American Indian lineage and heritage a level playing field.

    OMAHA, NE, October 04, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Principal Chief Carl Lee Hudson, a Federally-recognized Southern Cherokee Indian, has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Driven by his passion for his heritage, Chief Hudson was inspired to pursue a career with the Southern Cherokee Government, through which he presently excels as Principal Chief. Since 2003, he has maintained responsibility for proving the lineage of the Cherokee people so that he can verify their information. Prior to dedicating himself to the Southern Cherokee Government, Chief Hudson worked as a hypnotherapist and past life regressionist, a private detective, Boy Scout leader and honorably discharged from the U.S. Marine Corps.

An expert in his field, Chief Hudson completed coursework in political science and government at the University of North Dakota, Bellevue University and the University of Nebraska Omaha. In conjunction with his work, he is affiliated with the South Omaha Eagles Club #154, the National Speakers Association, National Guild of Hypnotists, the Boy Scouts of America (Order of the Arrow), the Omaha South High School Alumni Association, the Blinded Veterans Association and the Marine Corps Association.

Due to his wide range of knowledge and personal experiences, Chief Hudson consistently had served as a speaker at the University of Nebraska Omaha. In a career filled with highlights, he is most proud of meeting with United Nations Special Rapporteur Doudou Diene, the jurist of the Human Rights Council in Geneva, Switzerland. He attributes his success to his drive and motivation, as well as his desire to provide people with American Indian lineage and heritage a level playing field. Looking toward the future, Chief Hudson intends to increase the financial solvency of the Southern Cherokee Government in order to provide more economic development and career opportunities for its citizens.
