CORONA, CA, October 06, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Subodh Maheshwari, M.F.A., has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. Maheshwari has been a skilled artist, art therapist, and educator for more than 30 years. Having always been interested in the arts and music since her youth, she decided to commit herself to a creative path after moving to the United States from India in 1971. Prior to embarking upon her professional journey, she completed a Bachelor of Art at Agra University in Uttar Pradesh, India. In the United States, she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from California State University, Fullerton. She then attained a Master of Fine Arts from the University of California Irvine. As she completed her academic accomplishments, she began her career as a teacher's assistant and instructor at the University of California Irvine from 1986 to 1991. Her career as an art educator continued in 1990 at Riverside City College, where she works presently.

Ms. Maheshwari has simultaneously produced art for her own business, Subodh Fine Art Studio. Subodh is a diversified artist who celebrates life, love and creative energy through her landscapes, floral subjects, and vibrant abstract forms. Her work unites Eastern symbolism and Western composition, with inspiration from 16th and 17th century Rajasthani and Mogul art as well as the floral paintings of Georgia O'Keefe. These paintings additionally incorporate Subodh's life experiences and her belief that, "in the threshold of my life, my present is the window to the past and a key to the future."

Ms. Maheshwari's highly individual style shines in her evocative works, which have been exhibited both nationally and internationally. In the United States, her works have been presented multiple times in New York City, Miami, and Los Angeles. She displayed her art for her community at museums in Riverside and Lancaster in California. Subodh has been a highlighted artist at the Amsterdam Whitney Gallery, Art Expo, and the Metropolitan Gallery in Las Vegas, Nevada. In 2019, the Grimandi Gallery featured her solo exhibition "Romance with colors." Internationally, her work has been presented at the Fourth Cosmopolitan Exhibition at the 1988 Olympics in Seoul, South Korea. In 2014, she participated in the Indian Art Festival in Mumbai and was subsequently a featured artist with the Asiamania Festival in Seoul in 2015. She has also presented her work in Rome's Associazione Internazionale Galleria IL Collezionista. During the Coronavirus pandemic, Ms. Maheshwari continued to display her art through online exhibitions at the Las Laguna Gallery in Long Beach, California, HMVC Gallery New York, LightSpaceTime, and multiple exhibitions hosted on the Canadian website Bifarin.

Subodh's work has been recognized numerous times over the course of her career. She received the Regional Fellowship Award from the University of California Irvine in 1986 and the Bharat Gaurav Award in 2015. The next year, she was named as one of the Best Inspirational Contemporary Artists. Ms. Maheshwari was named as one of the Top 60 Masters for six years between 2016 and 2022, and received the Artya Award in 2018 and 2021. She also received the Best of International Arts 2018 award from Art Tour International Publications Inc. In 2021, Contemporary Art Curator Magazine recognized her with the Collector's Vision Award. During her 2019 solo exhibition, Vivid Arts Network and ArtTour International presented Subodh with the "Inspire the World" lifetime achievement award. ArtTour International has published her work in several issues since 2017. Additionally, she was featured in multiple editions of "International Contemporary Masters," published with Worldwide Art Books. Subodh's work was also in volumes four through six of "Inspiration: International Art Book." She has also been featured and interviewed for Art Business News, Rajniti Times, and Indian Creative Minds in 2014 and 2015. Ms. Maheshwari will be included in the 2023 edition of Who's Who in America.

Through all this, Ms. Maheshwari continues to express her emotions and visual delight with her paintings. Her most recent works respond to ongoing women's issues, racism, and the global climate crisis. She hopes to raise awareness through her paintings and bring everyone together to find a solution. She plans to continue this work through large scale paintings. Looking further into the future, she intends to publish books featuring her work, especially her symbolic paintings. Subodh credits much of her success not only to her diligence, but also the love and support she has received throughout her career. Ms. Maheshwari sincerely welcomes anyone who wants to explore her work to visit her studio in Corona, California, or to visit online at subodhfineartstudio.com.
