EUGENE, OR, October 07, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Kyle Rodriguez-Hudson, MBA, LPC, has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. Mr. Rodriguez-Hudson has been recognized for his leadership skills as the executive director for TransPonder, a nonprofit organization based in Eugene, Oregon. An expert in building community partnerships and community engagement, he is responsible for fostering a collaborative, mission-driven environment, as well as providing strategic oversight to promote sustainable revenue growth, oversee daily operations, engage with the community to form lasting partnerships, collaborate with partners, and more. Mr. Rodriguez-Hudson is also active on the organization's TBIPOC committee.

In addition to holding monthly meetings, the organization promotes special events and consultations with local businesses. The organization also services multiple nearby counties throughout the state and is aligned with the Oregon Health Authority to address health disparities, provide resources, and promote education, justice and equality.
Prior to joining TransPonder, Mr. Rodriguez-Hudson functioned as an administrator at ColumbiaCare-River Bridge, a secure treatment facility, between 2018 and 2020, a program administrator for ShelterCare from 2017 to 2018 and, among other roles, a therapist for Norwegian American Hospital between 2014 and 2015. In every role in which he has served, whether it was in nonprofit, corrections, or health care, Mr. Rodriguez-Hudson's goal has always been to serve as a channel for the underserved and those who lack a voice in society.
In addition to his paid positions, Mr. Rodriguez-Hudson had the opportunity to intern for the Center on Halsted in Chicago, where he oversaw various support groups as a therapist and was able to connect with and provide resources to the LGBTQIA+ communities. He also interned with the Transformative Justice Law Project of Illinois, a nonprofit organization that enables attorneys to advocate for queer individuals and people of color. In this capacity, Mr. Rodriguez-Hudson was responsible for assisting those that had been incarcerated.
A dedicated advocate of his community, Mr. Rodriguez-Hudson is active as a member of the Lane Community Health Council. He also serves on the Oregon Health Policy Board and the board of directors of the HIV Alliance and has participated in the Planned Parenthood Gender Affirming Care Program.
Mr. Rodriguez-Hudson received a bachelor's degree at Northeastern Illinois University in 2010, a master's degree in Community Counseling at Argosy University in 2014, and a Master of Business Administration in health care administration/management at Concordia University in 2017. He also received credentials as a licensed professional counselor through the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists in 2016.
To further support his career, Mr. Rodriguez-Hudson is a prominent member of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health. Honoring his achievements, he was recognized as the Trans Leader of the Year in 2020. He has also been interviewed and featured in two local publications in 2020 and 2021, which focused on advocacy for transgender health and equity. In accounting for his success, Mr. Rodriguez-Hudson credits his curiosity and humble nature, as well as his propensity for finding a teachable moment every day.
