With more than 20 years of experience to his credit as a financial executive, Mr. Grim has found success as the senior director of information technology business services for Utz Brands, Inc. Since 2022, he has focused his efforts on serving as the front-facing entity of information technology for the company, working to identify business process improvements, create application modifications and increase software efficiency. He develops business processes and forecasting strategies to drive his company's efficiency, performance and business decisions while enhancing internal controls.
Outside of his primary career efforts, Mr. Grim serves as a panel member for the local Technology Leaders Club and is an e-group leader for his community's Elevation Church. Prior to his current role, Mr. Grim served as a senior internal auditor with Arthur Andersen and Co. from 1994 to 1997 and was subsequently the manager of financial accounting and third-party liaison for Hanover Direct between 1997 and 2000. Following this period, he acquired a role as a corporate controller, internal auditor and tax accountant for Snyder's-Lance, Inc. from 2000 until 2007 and was promoted to the director of financial planning and analysis in 2008. He was promoted further in 2015 to the director of finance, information technology and enterprise applications.
Mr. Grim continued his career as the director of financial planning and analysis for AAA Carolinas between 2018 and 2019 and subsequently served as the vice president of finance for ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems from 2019 to 2020. He worked as an adviser for AdvisoryCloud in 2020 and concurrently acquired a position as the president of SG Consulting from 2020 to 2022.
Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Grim earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting from York College of Pennsylvania in 1989. To further his expertise in the field, he attained a Master of Business Administration from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania in 2010. He is also pursuing a Master of Science degree in Data Analytics from York College of Pennsylvania.
