Joining her husband in 2019, Mrs. Stender became a licensed real estate agent in the state of Arkansas so she could be of better assistance with his house flipping business. Beginning her new career with another local real estate company so she could acquire and sell properties, she subsequently joined RE/MAX Elite in Conway in 2021. In addition to purchasing and renovating 11 homes and turning them into rental properties, Mrs. Stender began focusing on developing a great clientele, including first-time homebuyers in search of their dream homes.
Grateful for her husband's ongoing support, especially during the earlier stage of her real estate career, Mrs. Stender also finds inspiration in her son. Looking toward the future, she and her husband aim to continue building their flipping business in the hopes of acquiring and renting out at least 50 rental properties in the next five years. Prior to working in real estate, Mrs. Stender was the owner of a London-based business called Stay at Home Mom from 2017 to 2019, which specialized in wellness and fitness.
Mrs. Stender's passion for homeownership has led her to give back to her community as a committee member for the City of Hope Outreach, a nonprofit organization that assists the homeless population. She has also been active with a local pack-your-backpack program that has already donated 500 backpacks filled with supplies for children throughout Little Rock, Arkansas. Among other involvements, Mrs. Stender has been involved with two local initiatives that support senior citizens and founded a local group titled Sisters in Unity, which is dedicated to helping single mothers by offering workshops to educate and prepare them for future employment and become more independent. Mrs. Stender's desire to give back to society stems from her upbringing and her belief that giving is far more important than receiving.
Mrs. Stender received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communication at the University of Central Arkansas in 2009, followed by a master's degree in family consumer sciences, with an emphasis in family counseling, in 2011. Additionally, Mrs. Stender is a licensed real estate agent in the state of Arkansas.
As a part of her professional commitments, Mrs. Stender is a member of the diversity committee for the Faulkner County Board of Realtors. She is also a committee member for Realtor Restore and a member of the National Association of Realtors. For her civic endeavors and work with local senior citizens, Mrs. Stender was featured in several local newspaper and magazine articles.
