During Operation Desert Storm, Mr. Glover was granted command of the USS Macdonough (DDG-39) in the Persian Gulf, accepting the responsibility of 350 sailors who worked under him in a war zone.

Following more than 27 years of service on behalf of the United States Navy, Mr. Glover retired at the rank of Captain. He offered his expertise as a senior consultant with McKean Defense, Gryphon Technologies, and AMSEC LLC between 2000 and 2017.
Mr. Glover's outstanding academic background includes a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, earned at the Naval Postgraduate School in 1986. He also attained a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics from Youngstown State University in 1971.
Before embarking upon his civilian career, Mr. Glover served for several years with the U.S. Navy. He was the officer in charge of the INSURV Trials Board from 1998 to 2000 and the program manager of the USS Yorktown from 1996 to 1998. Moreover, he functioned as the acting chief of staff of the U.S. Navy AEGIS Program from 1995 to 1996 and the deputy director of the Surface Ship Maintenance Division, NAVSEA 915B between 1992 and 1995.

Moreover, he proudly accepted the Persian Gulf War Medal and the Meritorious Service Medal for his service.
Other positions held by Mr. Glover in the Navy include the roles of materials officer from 1988 to 1990 and executive officer of the USS Coontz from 1987 to 1988. He also earned vital industry credentials, including the Major Program Manager Certification, awarded from the Department of Defense Acquisition Professional Community affiliated with the U.S. Navy "Smart Ship Program." Mr. Glover also completed the DoD Program Manager's Course (DSMC) in 1993, and he maintains critical collaborative networks in the American Society of Naval Engineers and the Retired Officers Association.
Today, Mr. Glover's primary goal is to assist young men in achieving Eagle Scout status, and he mentors young candidates as the Committee Chairman of Troop 481 of the Boy Scouts of America. In fact, he attributes his professional success to his achievements in scouting, following his mother's model of active membership with the Girl Scouts. In Mr. Glover's estimation, the Boy Scouts taught him how to be a confident and productive leader, and firmly established the foundation upon which he now stands.
