Next, she joined CityGate Property Group as a regional property manager and, in just 15 months, grew her portfolio by 55 percent to supervise a collective of $59 million in assets. Joining MLDC Management in 2019, she has played a pivotal role in the organization's growth.
Noted for her achievements in the field, Mrs. Vitek has received several awards. These include Regional Supervisor of the Year from the Houston Apartment Association, Supervisor of the Year from the Panhandle of Texas, Leasing Agent of the Year from the Texas Apartment Association and Leasing Agent of the Year from the Houston Apartment Association. She was also recognized as a Top 40 Professional Under 40 by the Houston Apartment Association. Mrs. Vitek attributes her success to the mentors she has had throughout her career, as well as to her commitment to be authentic and her vision of cultivating positive change in the world.
Mrs. Vitek is a member of several important organizations related to her industry, including the Houston Apartment Association, Texas Apartment Association and National Apartment Association. In addition, she is a certified apartment manager, per the National Apartment Association Education Institute. Outside of work, she is an advocate for the PTSD Foundation of America, an organization that brings hope and healing to combat veterans and their families suffering from the effects of combat-related post-traumatic stress.
