She, along with her sisters, produced the silkiest harmonies in the history of R&B Soul and Disco and influenced generations of artists from En Vogue, Xscape , TLC , SWV , Destiny's Child and More. The Icon Shirley Jones and The Prince Regent of EDM Dantès Alexander talked about her journey with her sisters From Michigan to Chicago and ultimately to Philadelphia and PIR (Philadelphia International Records) in their rise to acclaim and how it feels to be one of the founding mothers of modern Electronic Dance Music movement rooted in Disco. The show started off on a funny note with the pair engaging in hilarious laughter. The record Nights Over Egypt played softly in the background kicking off the brand-new cafe interview format. The Jones Girls are an Grammy Nominated American R&B SOUL and Disco vocal group comprised of three sisters from Detroit, Michigan. Consisting of Brenda, Shirley, and Valorie Jones. They performed as backup singers for Lou Rawls, Teddy Pendergrass, Aretha Franklin, and Le Pamplemousse. They worked with Diana Ross and were the backup singers on Linda Clifford's album If My Friends Could See Me Now. They also performed on Tower of Power's disco-themed 1979 album Back on the Streets. 1979's "You Gonna Make Me Love Somebody Else" was one of their biggest hits. It was also a Top 5 R&B hit. It was certified gold and later became one of the first platinum records. On that record also features a generational iconic song who can i run too? With "I Just Love The Man" (1980) and "Nights Over Egypt" (1981), further hits followed. After the release of On Target, Shirley Jones pursued a solo career and had a number 1 R&B hit with the classic "Do You Get Enough Love", from her top-ten debut album Always in the Mood (1986). After the success of the single, Jones married Harlem Globetrotters basketball player Harold Hubbard. After a break the Jones girls reunited for the 1992 album Coming Back and Toured extensively throughout the 90's in Europe and America. In early 2001 Valorie Jones Passed away. 2011 saw the release of Shirley's Comeback Single So Confused and has subsequently put out new music each year. Tragically Brenda Jones also passed away in 2017. TV One profiled the singer and her family in 2021 on Unsung. Shirley Jones continues to release music every year and in 2022 she returned with a brand new "Steppin" song Soul Steppin.

Dantès Alexander, the Prince Regent of EDM, released his highly anticipated new remix album "NEW JACK CITY III: ALL MIXED UP" on Friday, August 26, 2022, as an apple music, tiktok and tidal exclusive. It will be coming to CD and select additional retailers December 12th. Dantès Alexander released his debut album NEW JACK CITY and the New Jack City EP on June 04th 2021 and August 2021, respectively, followed by his mobile and PC game New Jack City on June 05th 2021. To date between both projects they have been streamed over 500k times. In 2021, He was nominated for a Chicago music award due to his multi-platinum 3rd single on Spotify, So below (2020). In January 2022, he launched the Access Lake shore drive podcast on Spotify.
