She has subsequently disseminated her findings by authoring various articles in scholarly journals over the past 15 years, including the Journal of Interventional Cardiac Electrophysiology and the Journal of Cardiac Failure. Furthermore, Dr. Kezerashvili has presented her work before various professional organizations.
Prior to embarking upon her professional journey, Dr. Kezerashvili obtained a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry, summa cum laude, from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 2001 and a Doctor of Medicine, with honors, from Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Yeshiva University in 2005. Additional educational pursuits to her credit include a residency in internal medicine at the Montefiore Medical Center at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine between 2005 and 2008 and a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the New York University Long Island School of Medicine from 2008 to 2011. Dr. Kezerashvili received credentials as a registered physician for vascular interpretations through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography. She is board-certified in cardiovascular disease, internal medicine, nuclear medicine and nuclear cardiology. Dr. Kezerashvili is notably fluent in English, Spanish and Russian.
Dr. Kezerashvili is an elected fellow of the American College of Cardiology and is a respected member of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, the American Medical Association and the Society for Vascular Ultrasound. She is also a member of the Sigma Beta Honor Society. Honoring her achievements, Dr. Kezerashvili was recognized with a Distinguished Oral Presentation Award at the Annual Research Day in 2010.
