Ms. Osei-Fordwuo was born in Ghana, where, as the second and oldest daughter of five siblings, she became responsible for cooking for her family. Earning a Bachelor of Business Administration from Archbishop Porter Girls' Polytechnic, she went on to serve for several years as a business administrator and secretary. Following her immigration to the United States, she resolved to use her natural talents as a lifelong cook to enter business alongside her husband.
Since establishing her restaurant, Ms. Osei-Fordwuo has also distinguished herself as the co-founder and co-owner of the Osei-Fordwuo Family LLC and Osei-Fordwuo Foundation, whose goal is to serve as a conduit for charitable donations to her homeland. Likewise, the foundation aims to serve as an empowering influence for young women and help them achieve their goals.
Among her accomplishments, Ms. Osei-Fordwuo is particularly proud to have surmounted numerous obstacles as an immigrant by achieving recognition as a local business owner. In accounting for such success, she credits her fearless attitude and propensity for seeking the expertise and wisdom of her elders, drawing particular inspiration from the example of her father, who always reminded her that women could do everything a man is capable of.
