GLEN ELLYN, IL, October 28, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ — Robert Lee Hildebrand has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Hildebrand retired from RR Donnelley in 1992 after nearly 25 years of service. He was recruited to the printing firm as an officer, and his efforts aided in the company's plant expansion and elevated global presence. He also dedicated nearly 15 years to the General Electric Company, where he was invited to engage in a three-year management training program across all aspects of the firm, including training for products such as light bulbs, generators and televisions. Prior to these corporate appointments, Mr. Hildebrand was on the roster of the Denver Central Bankers, a team included in the National Industrial Basketball League, which was founded in 1947.

Mr. Hildebrand proudly completed his college education on an athletic scholarship, earning an associate degree from Illinois Wesleyan University in 1952. He attributes his personal and professional successes to an excellent education and a Christian upbringing, as well as a sense of humility. Notably, he counts his 70-plus-year marriage to Ann as his most important life achievement. Now a widower, Mr. Hildebrand proudly tracks his children's academic, athletic and professional successes, and he is dedicated to supporting his grandchildren in their pursuits as well.
