Mr. Myer has helped produce such works as "Son of Cornwall," "Wild Men" and "Witch"

He takes the most pride in writing indie fiction projects in various genres.

NORTH OXFORD, MA, October 31, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Douglas Maxwell Myer has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Starting in 2008, Mr. Myer began his pursuit of a career in the world's artistic capital, New York City. However, after the recession hit in 2009, he struggled to find work, so he relocated back to New England and began doing freelance work, which eventually allowed him to work on marketing projects for Hollywood films. Over the years working on the marketing side of the film business, Mr. Myer has taken part in movie projects in every genre from big action blockbusters such as Logan and Spiderman Homecoming, family animated movies including Zootopia and The Angry Birds, to Oscar winning dramas like Darkest Hour and Green Book. Through this work, other doors opened, allowing him to enter into independent films as a producer where he would later help land a worldwide distribution deal with Bayview Entertainment for the feature documentary Son of Cornwall.

Throughout his career, Mr. Myer has gained valuable expertise in the entertainment industry as a production assistant for the Frontline documentary "Kind Hearted Woman," which aired on PBS, a Cyndi Lauper music video, and a project for the History Channel. Backed by years of professional experience, he presently excels as a producer on other people's projects and a writer – director of his own films with projects such as "Son of Cornwall," which is now available on Tubi, Amazon Prime, Hoopla, and Blu-Ray release, "Shades of Autumn," "Everything's Fine," and more.

In recognition of these considerable achievements, Son of Cornwall received the Best Documentary Feature Award at the New Delhi Film Festival. While his career has been filled with highlights, he takes the most pride in writing indie fiction projects in various genres, helping represent "Son of Cornwall" in America and excelling at documenting sports during his days in high school with an outsider's perspective. The cornerstone of his success lay in his personal drive to seize every opportunity that comes his way. In the next five years, Mr. Myer intends to become more involved in making larger productions of his own, continue assisting other colleagues, and mentor young and upcoming filmmakers.
