A successful venture that began in 2016, Ms. Skaggs' passion for the industry notably began while designing her own home. Envisioning raising her three children in a large, modern farmhouse that offered both beauty and functionality and the freedom to roam, she fell in love with the entire process. Shortly after her home was complete, Ms. Skaggs decided that she wanted to be able to provide that very same joy to others.
Proud of her accomplishments, Ms. Skaggs is a self-taught designer and builder who also became fluent in AutoCAD, a computer-aided design program that is used by architects, engineers, and construction professionals to create 2D and 3D drawings. Excited to have been able to develop her own style so early on in her career, which most notably includes her signature round window, Ms. Skaggs enjoys incorporating natural elements, unique spaces, and superior craftsmanship that showcase her exceptional style.
Admitting that the construction industry can be daunting at times because it is predominantly led by men, Ms. Skaggs does not let anything get in her way. Always up for a good challenge, she is determined to prove herself as a respected, talented, and educated professional in the field. Utilizing her skills and expertise, she was an independent direct sales business owner, running her own business with the provided platform and product of Park Lane Jewelry. She recruited and trained over 100 women to run their own independent direct sales business. Looking toward the future, Ms. Skaggs aims to continue expanding Three Ale Custom Homes and become recognized as a sought-after expert throughout her Texas community.
Shortly after high school, Ms. Skaggs enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, having served as a staff sergeant at the Carswell Air Force Base in Fort Worth, Texas, from 2009 to 2016. During her service, she pursued an education at Amarillo College where she garnered an Associate of Science in 2015.
To remain aware of developments in her field, Ms. Skaggs has been a member of and board of directors for the Texas Panhandle Builders Association (TPBA) and the Texas Association of Builders. In light of her achievements, Ms. Skaggs was a TPBA recipient of a Best Master's Suite Award in 2021 and a Best Owner's Suite Award in 2022.
