Being self-driven, Laryssa put herself through school, raising two young daughters as a single parent. During the early stages of her career, she gained expertise throughout multiple industries such as medical, air travel, gold mining, factoring and PO financing companies, in addition to mortgage brokering and financial advisory in Boca Raton, FL. She then went on to find her niche in business management and accounting by living in places like Albuquerque, NM, Miami, FL, Los Angeles, CA and currently in Las Vegas, NV. Her first dabble with entrepreneurship was with her first company, Advance Business Concepts, Inc., where she was able to expand into markets nationwide. Then taking two years off, while in Los Angeles she explored the entertainment industry, working with a Disney, Street Fighter, and commercial voice over actor. She then found herself as a background actor on TV show sets at CBS, Fox, and Netflix Productions. She then dabbled in website development and podcasting. After two years, she returned to her passion for business with a whole new perspective.
Outside of her work, she has a passion for animals and music. In her younger years she aspired to be a singer and was classically trained in opera. She also contributes to her local community as a volunteer with Three Square Food Bank, and as treasurer (former title) of Love & Help Foundation and is currently awaiting the development of facilities to assist with projects by former NFL player Morlon Greenwood and his MG52 Foundation.
An expert in her field, Ms. Slaton holds a bachelor's degree in business administration, with a concentration in accounting and finance, from Westwood College, a FMVA certification and is working towards a Project Management Degree. Though her career has been filled with highlights, Ms. Slaton takes the most pride in being a successful entrepreneur and owner of multiple businesses despite coming from an environment that discouraged women from obtaining an education and an era of glass ceilings. Within the coming years, she aims to transition her career into her recently developed management company buying and selling companies, becoming a professional stock trader and cryptocurrency.
