He continued his career as a program manager with Building Community in New Hampshire in 2016 and was promoted to the managing director in 2018. The same year, he took a role as an operations project manager for Fusion Talent as well as a project manager for Affordable Language Services. He continued his interpretation work while working as a mortgage banker at 1st National Bank in 2019 and then as a senior loan officer for Paramount Residential Mortgage Group Inc. in 2020. At the same time, he was a team leader and senior loan officer for PRMG Eastern Division in 2021.
Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Siwakoti earned multiple bachelor's degrees in sociology, English Literature, and rural economics from Tribhuvan University in Nepal in 2007. Besides, he independently received Bachelors in Nepali Literature and Journalism from Nepali Bhasha Prakashani Samiti in India (2006), and Diploma in Computer Application programming from College of Software Engineering-CES in 2005. Prior to resettlement into United States, he was pursuing master's degree is Mass Communication and Journalism from College of Journalism and Mass Communication in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal.
After immigrating to the United States in 2009, he attained an associate degree in information technology and sociology from Donnelly College in 2012 and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix in 2014. Well-qualified in his field, he is a mortgage action alliance member with the Mortgage Bankers Association.
Mr. Siwakoti goes by pen name, 'Puranaghare' in Literature is a renowned literary figure in Nepali Literature. He is known as a published influential writer in Nepal, Bhutan, India, Burma, Europe, Australia, UK, and USA as one of the active contributors in the field of Nepali Literature.
Pralayagni ko Sangharbata is his anothology of contemporary Nepali poems, besides he has edited more than a dozen of Nepali literature sites, and books. Mr. Siwakoti is a life member of International Nepali Literature Society INLS.
Vola has contributed more than 20,000 hours of volunteer time to his community. His notable voluntary contributions were General Secretary at Bhutan Press Union from 2004 – 2008, President at Bhutan Ghazal Manch from 2002 – 2004, Coordinator at Bhutan Nepali Literature Council – 2009 – 2010, General Secretary at www.bhutaneseliterature.com from 2009 – 2011, Office Secretary at Global Federation for Nepali Literature from 2010 – 2014 President at Kansas Bhutanese Community Foundation from 2009 – 2013, Founding president and program Director at Chhanda Alankar 2013 – current.
Vola is continually blessed by his parents Shiva Siwakoti and Devi Siwakoti in all his ups and downs in life. Besides, he is personally bestowed with six siblings – three brothers and three sisters, all of them are in the United States. His other half, Tika is a mortgage management professional as well, currently working as Operations Manager at Nationwide Mortgage Bankers as well. His daughter, Arzu (11) and son, Aarav (5) lives with him and his wife in Liberty OH happily fulfilling the American Dream.
Mr. Siwakoti is an instantaneous hard worker, fighter, server, and leader. He believes in his will power to serve the needy to harnesses his happiness. He is equally proud of the family, friends, clients, and stakeholders who are continually helping him handle businesses and drive his success to happiness.
Within the coming years, Mr. Siwakoti intends to continue his work while also engaging more in his writing hobby, creating poetry, stories and novels. He is also committed to benefiting his community, informed by his own experiences as a refugee.
