Howard Bridges Jr. Celebrated for Dedication to Military Veterans

Mr. Bridges channels his personal and professional experiences into his work with Home-4-Vets, Inc.

He strongly believes that these men and women, who have served their country honorably, are owed housing and food.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK, November 10, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Howard Bridges Jr. has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

As a military veteran, Mr. Bridges has been driven to advocate for homeless veterans throughout his professional career. Supported by years of varied expertise, he presently excels as the executive director of Home-4-Vets, Inc. During the early stages of his career, he worked as a military instructor, school teacher and a professional chauffeur. It was during his time as a chauffeur for Joe Jonas during the May 2013 tornado in Moore, OK, and the fact that he had seen countless homeless veterans on the street, that compelled him to establish Home-4-Vets, Inc., an Oklahoma non-profit.

Mr. Bridges became involved in his profession because, as a veteran himself, he has an affinity for the homeless veterans he sees on the streets. He strongly believes that these men and women, who have served their country honorably, are owed housing and food.

An expert in his field, Mr. Bridges completed coursework at Cameron University, the University of Maryland (Munich), and El Centro College. Long dedicated to civic advocacy, he has contributed to his community as former vice-chair of the Oklahoma Homeless Veterans Task Force, as well as a member of the American Indian Chamber of Commerce. Similarly, he continues to advocate for the homeless and believes his success is largely attributed to his passion for this cause. It is the kindness that he shows to others that defines his character. Looking toward the future, Mr. Bridges intends to observe progress regarding the homeless epidemic, while considering building a facility that provides safety, refuge and protection on his own land. Mr. Bridges has been striving to build a first class facility for homeless veterans since 2013 (complete with conceptual drawings donated by the University of Oklahoma and plans.)
