SAUK CENTRE, MN, November 14, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Daniel T. Erickson has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Mr. Erickson began his career serving honorably in the U.S. Army Reserve as a heavy equipment operator in both Kuwait and Iraq between 2002 and 2004 before he was medically discharged. While operating a road grader, he struck an improvised explosive device and subsequently spent a significant period of time recovering at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio. Garnering expertise in operating machinery in the military, he began working as a machinist in 2007. Since 2017, Mr. Erickson has served as a machinist for Eagle Lake Manufacturing and has owned Wounded Wing Lawn & Garden Services LLC since 2021.
Mr. Erickson completed coursework in machine tool technology at Central Lakes College and received Advanced Individual Training through the U.S. Army in 2002. He has been a member of several important organizations, including the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Lions Club International, the Military Order of the Purple Heart and the Disabled American Veterans. Additionally, Mr. Erickson is the finance officer for American Legion Post 280, a member of the Sauk Centre Area Chamber of Commerce, a machinist, and chairman for the Eagle Bend Veterans Club.
Mr. Erickson was inspired by Andy Frisella, an entrepreneur who hosts his own business podcast. Listening to Mr. Frisella's podcast and personal experience as an entrepreneur encouraged him to establish his own business. To commemorate his accomplishments, Mr. Erickson was the recipient of a Purple Heart Medal and a Commendation Medal through the U.S. Army and a nominee for New Business of the Year in 2021 via the Sauk Centre Area Chamber of Commerce.
