TROY, NY, November 18, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Michael Viktor Butler has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Having been raised by his mother, aunts, and grandmother, and being exposed to the theater from a young age, Mr. Butler felt pulled to pursue a career in arts and entertainment. At just 14 years old, he began making films and over the years he expanded upon his expertise through both education and experience. After completing coursework at the University of Vermont and Mark Hopkins College, Mr. Butler began his career in education as an instructor for Syracuse University.

Over the years, Mr. Butler also worked as an instructor for UCLA from 1982 until 1986. Backed by decades of considerable expertise, he presently excels as the founder and director of La Vita Nuova Press, through which he publishes books and other multimedia works. Throughout his career, he has authored such books as "The Blue Obsidian Scarab," "The Fatal Rendezvous," "The Gay American Classic HEYDAY," "A Treasury of American Heart-Aches," "The Kahdavva," and "Moon of the Mahatma Dons: An Erotic Novel of Forbidden Ecstasy."

In conjunction with his work, Mr. Butler has dedicated himself to others through the Animal Care Council and aligns himself with the Pine Hills Neighborhood Association. Due to his outstanding breadth of work, he received an honorary degree from Syracuse University and has won such awards as the Ariel Towson Arliss Award and the New York Book Award. Though his career has been filled with highlights, he takes the most pride in bringing the past into the contemporary world via his work. Looking ahead, Mr. Butler intends to put together a legacy project for the Library of Congress and reach out to publishers and agents in Great Britain in order to gain an audience overseas.
