Drawing on nearly 30 years of experience in his field, Mr. Marcus is recognized for his expertise as owner and president Avanti Floor Contractor and Perim Builder, both companies servicing the construction and renovation needs of property owners in the El Paso metro area. Born in Mexico City to a Mexican mother and a Texan father, Mr. Marcus traveled to El Paso often as a child to visit family, who lived in the region. He decided to immigrate to El Paso 27 years ago, at the age of 43. Once settled, he founded Avanti Floor Contractor, a flooring installation company.
In 2005, Mr. Marcus branched out into home building and founded Perim Builders. Today, he owns three apartment complexes, with two more under construction, as well as 409 units of self-storage. He looks forward to growing his business by developing two more pieces of land within the coming two years. On a personal level, Mr. Marcus looks forward to relocating to downtown El Paso in the near future so he can enjoy a different, more urban, more walkable life.
As a commitment to his profession, Mr. Marcus is a member of the American Home Surfaces Group. A family man, he enjoys spending time with his wife of 18 years and visiting his six children and seven grandchildren in Mexico.
