Prior to his current role, Mr. Johnson joined the United States Army in 1988 as a stinger team chief and became a stinger section sergeant in 1994. He continued his exemplary career as an avenger squad leader in 1998 and then as a platoon sergeant in 1999. In 2004, he became a senior trainer developer, writer and senior instructor until serving as a senior observer controller at 346 ADA Camp Shelby in 2007. Following this time, he loyally continued as a first sergeant in 2010 and as a Senior Operations Manager and G33 ops Sergeant Major in 2012.
Among his stellar professional accomplishments, Mr. Johnson has been honored with seven Army Accommodation Medals, three Meritorious Service Medals and two Bronze Stars from the United States Army. He also diligently studied theology, earning an associate's degree in 1999.
Within the coming years, Mr. Johnson intends to continue serving his community. Rather than serving his country through the military, he aspires to establish a food truck to feed the homeless population in his area, serving on a civilian level instead.
