Among his most extensive ventures, he started his own electrical company with over twenty employees when he was just 19 years old. Subsequently, Mr. Petruzziello established Northern Lights Development in 2008 as the company's owner, founder and chief executive officer. Located in Westwood, Massachusetts, his premier development company specializes primarily in the residential sector, designing and building high-end luxury homes and boutique condominiums.
Adding to his expertise, Mr. Petruzziello established LYX Group in 2021, a luxury real estate development company that focuses on multi-family dwellings, condominiums and commercial buildings such as boutique hotels. He is presently working on two significant projects, The Bristol Wellesley in Wellesley, Massachusetts, which includes 24 residences, and The Bristol Waban in Newton, Massachusetts. Once completed, the Bristol Waban will include both contemporary and transitional-styled high-rise flats for buyers to choose from with three different floor plans. Additionally, Mr. Petruzziello is presently building an exclusive gated community in Boston, which will be located on 13 acres of land, as well as a palatial boutique hotel overlooking the Commons. Furthermore, he is building high-end homes in the Newton and Brookline areas of Massachusetts.
More recently, Mr. Petruzziello diversified his portfolio once more when he founded Charles River Recovery in 2022. Located in Massachusetts, the in-network rehabilitation facility has been the most rewarding for him yet. With a personal mission to help others recover from substance use disorders by providing them with the highest standard of care, both professionally and aesthetically, his building looks akin to a stylish hotel rather than a treatment center. Hoping to give patients a sense of comfort during their stay, Mr. Petruzziello's facility has 110+ beds for individuals recovering from substance use. Looking toward the future, he aims to establish several similar recovery centers throughout the country and abroad.
Aside from his daily responsibilities of owning and maintaining multiple different companies, Mr. Petruzziello is deeply invested in his community. In addition to volunteering his time with the Boys and Girls Club of America and Veterans Inc., Mr. Petruzziello works with several local homeless and charitable organizations. In recognition of his achievements, he was recently published with a feature article in the Boston Magazine as a Boston Power Player.
