SAINT PAUL, MN, November 30, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- R. Lynn Pingol has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. Ms. Pingol serves as the chief executive officer of MaKee Company LLC, a consulting company in Saint Paul, Minnesota, that she founded in 2017. Focused on designing comprehensive business solutions and program development services for start-ups and small- to medium-sized businesses, she also works closely with investors interested in working with Black, indigenous or people of color and women. Excelling in procurement and supply chain management, Ms. Pingol and her team of consultants are also experts in entrepreneur ecosystems, real estate development, strategic planning, policy and program development, leadership development, community engagement, and much more. MaKee Company also works in diversity of workforce. She continues to work with private and public entities to increase race + gender conscious hiring for communities of color and returning citizens. She has challenged government agencies who lack purposeful and intentional contracting language in the RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, etc. resulting in agencies changing the language in favor of minorities, women, and veterans.
Envisioning continued success and recognition as a woman of color in the construction industry, Ms. Pingol has been instrumental in assisting over 1,500 entrepreneurs launch their business in Europe and in Asia. In the US, Ms. Pingol has assisted in generating more than $40 million in contracts for over 125 different sub-contracting construction companies in the past three years. Looking toward the future, she plans to continually develop and promote solutions to the many challenges relating to entrepreneurial ecosystems and procurement as it affects small businesses. When asked about her inspiration, Ms. Pingo attributes her drive to success to her daughter, MaKayla Leilani and her son Keegan Gage. She also credits her tenacity and societal thinking to her mother, Dr. Ludmilla Pingol, who exposed Ms. Pingol at a young age, to approach solutions with a community benefit mindset.
Noted for her leadership in the local community, Ms. Pingol is an appointed commissioner for the City of Saint Paul, MN Human Rights and Equal Economic Opportunity. She also serves as the vice chair of the City of Saint Paul Business Review Council. Ms. Pingol has been invited to speak with Fortune 500 companies regarding procurement with intent and purpose to be inclusive of minorities, women, veterans, and small businesses.
Moving forward, Ms. Pingol once again looks to expand into real estate development, another expertise she is extremely passionate about. In 2024, Ms. Pingol is set to launch an industry focused incubator and resource center - called The HUB by MaKee Company, in Minneapolis, MN. The HUB by MaKee Company will be catered to small businesses in construction, real estate development, manufacturing, restaurant/hospitality, and technology. Ms. Pingol will continue to create an eco-system that is focused on small businesses, giving them the steps to succeed and the platform to be heard. She welcomes collaborators and partners willing to move the needle with building capability and capacity of historically marginalized groups in the United States.
Ms. Pingol holds advanced degrees in International Business and Marketing. To remain aware of developments in her field, she holds a leadership role with the National Small Business Association in Washington DC. And is a member with the Associated General Contractors of Minnesota. In recognition of her accomplishments, Ms. Pingol has been recognized as the Top 50 BMO Celebrating Women by Harris Bank in 2021 and in the Minneapolis Saint Paul Business Journal's Women in Business section in 2021.
