Although he holds an Associate of Arts degree in Mass Communications, and a technical degree in TV Studio Operations, he is considered an expert in Photography, creating numerous wedding albums, Talent Agency comp cards, portraits, and photos for publication in The Observer Newspaper, collaborated with Jay Greenbaum for Conde' Nast travel magazine, and various other magazine layouts. Jones is also an expert in scientific research with Mass Spectrometry, culminating in the launch of a Spectrometer Camera system into orbit on board SpaceX, under the guidance of Dr. Rolando Branly, project director with Broward College. In recognition of his outstanding body of work, he won several National Pacemaker Awards for Collegiate Excellence in Newspaper Design and Photo Editing while still enrolled at Broward College, 1994-1996. The Pacemaker award is considered to be the Pulitzer Prize among collegiate publications.
