Having accumulated more than 30 years of expertise in information technology, health care, education, and government, Mr. MacRitchie joined Tactical Rehabilitation Inc., a military healthcare provider, in 2020 as the chief operating officer. Two years later, he was appointed as the organization's chief executive officer where he is responsible for creating positive patient experiences by merging technology-based initiatives and high-quality medical devices. A highly efficient process engineering leader, Mr. MacRitchie also excels in business turnaround and restructuring, as well as the mitigation of risk. Notably, Tactical Rehabilitation Inc. is a full-service durable medical equipment company that specializes in products specifically for active-duty service members, veterans, and their families.
Looking toward the future, Mr. MacRitchie aims to prepare the company for generations of future success by helping to develop leaders at various levels for sustainability purposes. Prior to joining Tactical Rehabilitation Inc., he held several other leading positions, including chief executive officer at Helios Security, a leading secure transport company in Michigan; Senior Vice President & COO at CCI Systems Inc., an employee-owned network solutions provider; Vice President, COO & CTO at CISCO Systems, a networking software and hardware development company. Furthermore, Mr. MacRitchie served as a commander for the Cheboygan County Sheriff's Department Mounted Division in Cheboygan County, Michigan, and as a mounted deputy for the Oakland County Sheriff's Department in Oakland County, Michigan, and commander with Clare County Sheriff's Department Mounted Division in Clare County, Michigan. Mr. MacRitchie also serves as a commander for the Michigan Multi-Jurisdictional Mounted Police and Color Guard and is the liaison officer between law enforcement and the Michigan Horse Council.
Aside from his corporate career, Mr. MacRitchie has been the co-owner of New Beginnings Ranch in Holly since 1990. A buffalo and horse ranch that provides support for herd management for Custer State Park since 2005, it also offers horse training, trail riding, mountain riding, law enforcement training, and search and rescue training for horses, and, among other services, hosts the Young Riders 4H Club.
Mr. MacRitchie has also been a guest lecturer at the University of Michigan and the University of Waterloo - Toronto, where he has spoken extensively about emergency response.
Civically invested, Mr. MacRitchie is active with the Custer State Park and Smart Care Giving and spent many years responding to natural and war-torn disaster areas as a part of Cisco Systems and NetHope Tactical Response teams directing field operations. He holds a bachelor's degree in information systems and operations management, computer systems networking, and telecommunications from the University of Toledo since 1983 and is an honorary commander of the U.S. Air Force.
Mr. MacRitchie is a member of the International Forum on Advancements in Healthcare where he was notably recognized twice with the coveted Top 100 Healthcare Visionaries Award in 2020 and 2021. He is also a member of the GFAH. Mr. MacRitchie has also been awarded the top 10 most prominent business leaders to watch for 2023 by Inc. Magazine. Mr. MacRitchie attributes his success to his grandparents for teaching him the importance of elevating others and how to work together toward a common goal.
