She is also a member of the Financial Planning Association of Dallas/Fort Worth and the Allen Chamber of Commerce.
Outside of her primary career efforts, Ms. White-Stevens has been actively involved in teaching music. She was a minister of music for several churches and a music teacher in Australia. She was also the director of the Adelaide Hills Choir in Australia and has served as the minister of music for a Presbyterian and a Lutheran church in Texas. An accomplished musician in her own right, she was a performer for the Houston Grand Opera and Theatre Under the Stars. Also a dedicated civil advocate, she lends her musical expertise as the president of the Allen Philharmonic Symphony Chorus and serves on the Board of Directors for the Allen Philharmonic Association.
Prior to her current role, Ms. White-Stevens earned a Bachelor of Science in biology, chemistry and music from Ursinus College. She then attained a Master of Science in anatomy and physiology from Temple University in 1965. Well-qualified in her field, she is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), a Certified College Planning Specialist (CCPS) and a Certified College Funding Specialist (CCFS). In recognition of her excellent work, she was named one of Best Financial Planners in the Dallas Area by D Magazine in 2020 and has won the Reader's Choice award from Star Local Media from 2013 to 2022.
Within the coming years, Ms. White-Stevens intends to continue maintaining her business and serving her clients well. While living in Australia, she learned a great deal about financial planning and became someone her colleagues turned to for financial advice, which started her interest in financial planning as a career. She continues to be passionate about her work, striving to help her clients save for important life events.
