Driven to pursue a career in service to others, Mr. Rummel began his career as an emergency medical technician with Laurel Valley Ambulance Service. Over the years, he furthered his education to become a paramedic and gained valuable expertise in the field as a 911 dispatcher with both Westmoreland and Indiana County 911, a paramedic with Murrysvile Medic One, Lower Burrell VFC #3, UPMC, Excela Health, and Allegheny Health Network. Additionally, he worked in various supervisory roles with Lifestat Ambulance and Lower Kiski Ambulance Services.
After more than a decade and a half as a paramedic, Mr. Rummel pursued another dream of a career in law, beginning his work as a clerk with Edgar Snyder & Associates. Backed by his considerable expertise in both fields, he presently excels as an attorney with Edgar Snyder & Associates. Dedicated to his community, he has lent his time and energy to the Fairfield Township Volunteer Fire Department and Saltsburg Volunteer Fire Department. In order to remain abreast of changes in the field, Mr. Rummel aligns himself with the Allegheny County, American, Federal, and Pennsylvania Bar Associations, the Western Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, and the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, where he serves as an Amicus committee member.
Before establishing his career in law, Mr. Rummel earned a Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of Pittsburgh and a JD from the Thomas R. Kline School of Law at Duquesne University. Due to his outstanding body of work, Mr. Rummel has been recognized with the Outstanding Oral Advocate Award in legal research and writing as well as the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Trial Advocacy from Duquesne University. Recently, Mr. Rummel has been chosen for the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the National Trial Lawyers Association Top 40 Under 40.
While his career has been filled with highlights, Mr. Rummel is most proud of becoming an attorney and being a father of four children. He credits his success to hard work and determination. Once he sets his mind to something, he pushes forward until he makes it happen. Similarly, he has had help from mentors, friends, and family. In the next five to ten years, Mr. Rummel intends to continue to expand upon his skills to better serve his clients.
